Objectives of the Food Safety System
 Implementation Program
 
  • To help make Canadian products among the safest and highest quality in the world.

  • To strengthen the sector’s ability to identify and respond to food safety issues.

  • To educate B.C. producers in a government approved on-farm food safety program (OFFS) through financial incentives.

   

The FSSI Program consists of two components: 

The Outreach Element (Association lead)

and 

Implementation Element (Farmer/Grower/Producer)

Outreach Element - No further applications will be accepted. Current applications are being reviewed.

Implementation Element - Applications are being accepted and reveiwed.

All applicants will be advised of the outcome.
